The journals are Gallery Leather's, bound in Trenton, Maine: the Desk Leather Journal for the bag and the courthouse, the Large Leather Journal for the notes a practice has to keep. Both are ruled, sewn to lie flat, and gilt-edged, and both carry the maker's lifetime guarantee. The desk pad is Korchmar's Carter — full-grain American leather over a non-skid back, the surface a fountain pen was always meant to meet. We carry the desk pad and the journals as a Curated Collection; the makers' names are the argument, and we say so on each page.
What is not here yet is deliberate. Pen rests, blotters and letter trays will follow when we find the ones worth carrying; we do not stock to fill a shelf. For the pens that write in these, see Writing Instruments; for the padfolio that carries a legal pad into a deposition, see Portfolios & Padfolios.
Buy the notebook you will actually write in, not the one that photographs best, and you'll rarely choose wrong.
Preview — the collection opens Fall 2026. Prices and selection are shown in good faith; neither is guaranteed, and both may change before the collection opens. Ordering is not yet open; the shelves are being stocked. Join the Chambers below and we will write when the collection opens.
