1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
1.1 "Barrister & Bespoke," "we," "us," and "our" mean Barrister & Bespoke LLC, a Florida limited liability company with its principal place of business in Fort Myers Beach, Florida.
1.2 These Terms govern your use of barristerandbespoke.com and every purchase made through it. Our Shipping Policy, Returns & Exchanges Policy, Warranty Policy and Privacy Policy form part of these Terms. Where they are more specific, they govern.
2. Orders and acceptance
2.1 An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the shipping confirmation, not the order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before shipment for any lawful reason, including a pricing or stock error, and will refund any amount paid in full.
2.2 Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude sales tax, which is calculated at checkout. We show one price for every product and do not run promotions; a price may change at any time before an order is accepted.
2.3 Products described as "Coming Soon" or in pre-launch may be viewed but not purchased until they are released.
3. Products, descriptions and images
3.1 We describe each product as accurately as we can and state the maker's own claims as the maker's. Natural leather varies in grain and tone; the piece that arrives will not be identical to the photograph.
3.2 We do not offer monogramming, engraving, embossing or other personalization on our products, with one exception: the Gallery Leather planners sold on this site may be foil-stamped or blind-debossed by the maker with initials or up to two lines of text, as offered on those product pages. A personalized planner is made to your order and is Final Sale except for an error in the personalization itself; see our Returns & Exchanges Policy. Alterations made by a third party after delivery are outside our warranty and our returns policy.
3.3 Butane lighters ship unfueled. Torch lighters may not be carried aboard aircraft. Cigar accessories are sold to adults; we do not sell tobacco.
4. Shipping, returns and warranty
Shipping, risk of loss, returns, exchanges and warranties are governed by the policies named in Section 1.2.
5. Accounts and communications
5.1 You are responsible for the accuracy of the address and contact details you give us and for keeping any account credentials private.
5.2 By joining our mailing list you consent to receive our occasional letters; every one carries an unsubscribe link. Order and shipping notices are sent regardless.
6. Intellectual property
The Barrister & Bespoke name, the ampersand seal, the Field Guide, product names in our house line and all site content are ours or used with permission. Makers' names and marks belong to their owners. You may not reproduce site content for commercial purposes without written consent.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to interfere with the site, scrape it in a way that burdens it, or use it for any unlawful purpose. Automated purchasing agents must obtain contemporaneous human approval before payment.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
8.1 Except as stated in our Warranty Policy, the site and its content are provided "as is." Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty we give in writing or any right you have under law that cannot be limited by agreement.
8.2 To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Some states do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Venue for any dispute lies in Lee County, Florida. These Terms contain no arbitration clause; you retain the right to bring a claim in court.
10. Changes and contact
10.1 We may update these Terms; the effective date above changes when we do. Orders are governed by the Terms in force when they were placed.
