Shipping policy
1. Defined Terms
1.1 "Barrister & Bespoke," "we," "us," and "our" mean Barrister & Bespoke LLC, a Florida limited liability company.
1.2 "Product" means any item purchased from barristerandbespoke.com.
1.3 "Order" means a single purchase transaction, which may be delivered in more than one parcel.
1.4 "Business Day" means Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.
1.5 "Delivery" means the date the carrier records the parcel as delivered to the address given at checkout.
2. Where We Ship
2.1 We ship to addresses within the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and to APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses.
2.2 We do not ship internationally at this time.
2.3 We ship to PO Boxes where the carrier permits. Some Products cannot be delivered to a PO Box; where that is the case, we will contact you for a street address before dispatch.
3. Processing Time
3.1 Orders are processed and handed to the carrier within two (2) Business Days of order confirmation, except for Products that ship directly from their maker, which are governed by Section 3.5. Most Orders move faster. Two Business Days is the outside commitment, not the expectation.
3.2 Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. Eastern, or on a weekend or federal holiday, begin processing on the next Business Day.
3.3 Processing time is separate from carrier transit time. Total time to your door is processing time plus however long the carrier takes.
3.4 If we cannot ship within the stated time, we will notify you, and you may either consent to the delay or cancel the Order for a prompt refund. This is your right under the Federal Trade Commission's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, 16 C.F.R. Part 435.
3.5 Products that ship from the maker. Gallery Leather planners ship directly from the maker's bindery in Trenton, Maine, in a gift box, under our name. These Orders are handed to the carrier within ten (10) Business Days of order confirmation. Most leave the bindery well inside that — an unpersonalized planner usually within a few Business Days, and a personalized one, which is made to your order and foil-stamped by hand, usually within eight. Ten Business Days is the outside commitment. If we cannot meet it, Section 3.4 applies.
4. Shipping Rates
4.1 Rates are flat and set by us. They are not carrier-calculated, and they do not change with the weight or size of your Order.

4.2 Express reflects priority handling and a faster carrier service. It is not a guaranteed delivery date, and it does not shorten the processing time in Section 3.
4.3 Express is not available to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, or military addresses. Carriers do not offer expedited service to these destinations on terms we are willing to promise.
5. Free Shipping
5.1 Orders with a merchandise subtotal of $150 or more, calculated after any discounts and before tax, ship free by Standard service.
5.2 Free shipping applies to the contiguous United States only. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, and military addresses ship at the flat rate stated in Section 4, regardless of Order value.
5.3 Free shipping applies to the Order as a whole, not to individual parcels. An Order that ships in more than one parcel is still shipped free if it qualifies.
5.4 If you return part of an Order and the remaining merchandise subtotal falls below $150, we do not retroactively charge you for the shipping already provided. See Section 5.3 of our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
6. Orders Shipped in More Than One Parcel
6.1 Products ship from more than one location. An Order may therefore arrive as several parcels, on different days, each with its own tracking number.
6.2 You are never charged more than once for shipping on a single Order. The rate in Section 4 is charged per Order, not per parcel.
6.3 You will receive tracking for each parcel as it ships.
6.4 Where an Order ships in parts, your return window runs from Delivery of the last parcel. See Section 8.2 of our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
7. High-Value Parcels
Orders of $300 or more ship with signature confirmation and declared-value insurance, at no additional cost to you. Someone must be present to sign. We are not able to waive signature confirmation on these Orders; it is the protection that allows us to bear the risk of loss under Section 9.
8. Lighters
Every butane lighter we sell ships unfueled, as air transport regulations require. A new lighter that will not light has not failed — it needs butane, which is widely available and which we do not ship.
9. Risk of Loss, Damage, and Non-Delivery
9.1 We bear the risk of loss until Delivery.
9.2 If tracking shows a parcel delivered and you do not have it, tell us within 7 days of the recorded delivery date and we will investigate with the carrier and make it right.
9.3 If a Product arrives damaged, our Returns & Exchanges Policy governs. We deal with the carrier; you do not.

10. Address Accuracy and Undeliverable Parcels
10.1 Please check your shipping address at checkout. We dispatch to the address given, and we cannot redirect a parcel once it is with the carrier.
10.2 If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable through no fault of yours, we reship it once at no charge. See Section 10.2 of our Returns & Exchanges Policy.
11. Firm and Volume Orders
The shipping terms in this policy apply equally to purchases by firms, companies, and organizations, including purchases through our For Firms channel.
12. General
12.1 This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Venue for any dispute lies in Lee County, Florida.
12.2 If any provision of this policy is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in effect.
