The Pelikan Souverän R800 in Black is the rollerball for the M800 owner who wants the fountain pen's presence on the table without its opinions about paper. Capped, it reads as the M800 across a room — black high-grade resin, 24-karat gold-plated trim. Uncapped, it lays down a wet, unbroken line on whatever the other side brought to the deposition, and it starts on the first stroke.

Is the Pelikan warranty valid in the United States? Yes. Pelikan's three-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects has no geographical restrictions, and it covers the Souverän and Classic series.
