S.T. Dupont Cigar Cutter Stand — Black & Gold
The S.T. Dupont cigar cutter stand is a guillotine cutter in black lacquer and gold mounted on a weighted base, meant to stand on a desk rather than travel in a pocket. Set beside a humidor or an ashtray, it is the cutter counsel never have to hunt for while a guest waits with a cigar.

Exhibit B — The maker's film
Two minutes thirty-seven, shot in the Faverges workshop, captions theirs. The hallmark at 0:22 and the guilloché cutter at 1:18 are the same hands that finish this stand. The flame test at 1:58 is not — this one has no flame. It is the last item in the gallery above.
Questions we are asked
Why a stand rather than a pocket cutter? Because the cutter is the object that goes missing. On a stand it lives beside the humidor and is found without a search — the reason it is our first suggestion for a law office.
Is a single guillotine as good as a double? For a clean cap on a desk, yes. A double closes from both sides at once and is the more forgiving choice when you are cutting one-handed away from a desk.
Does it work as a gift for a lawyer making partner? It is one of the few cigar objects that reads as furniture rather than equipment, which is what makes it a good closing gift or desk piece.
What ring gauge does it take? We do not list a ring-gauge figure for this one. If you want a stated capacity, the Black & Chrome stand is the one cut for a 56 ring gauge.

Barrister & Bespoke Curated Collection — hand-selected from S.T. Dupont, the Paris maison that has made leather cases since 1872 and lighters since 1941, for its craftsmanship and fit within our world. Curated pieces carry their maker's own identity rather than ours; our house collection, designed and branded exclusively for Barrister & Bespoke, is marked separately throughout the shop.
Why we carry it. S.T. Dupont began where we did. Simon Tissot-Dupont opened a Paris workshop in 1872 making document cases, briefcases, and travel trunks for diplomats and businessmen — objects whose quality lived in hinges, locks, frames, and fittings. The lighter, four decades on, was the same discipline applied to a smaller object. The workshop has been at Faverges in the Haute-Savoie since 1924, took in its first master lacquerer in 1935, and holds the French state's Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant designation for living heritage craft. We sell leather cases for a living. So did they, first.
Warranty. This Product carries S.T. Dupont's two-year warranty against manufacturing defects, and Barrister & Bespoke's own Thirty-Day Assurance for the first thirty days after delivery. Full terms, including how to make a claim, are stated in our Warranty Policy.
